Uttar Pradesh: Several houses partially submerged in floodwater in Pragyaraj

In Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj region, continuous rains have led to flood-like situation in the region with the villages near the banks of rivers being partially submerged in water. As per media reports, in some areas, stagnant water has become a breeding ground for dengue mosquitoes because of the presence of plastic and silt in the drain. A local, Srijan Shrivastav, added, "Heaps of garbage is lying outside our houses. Roads are blocked due to water and we were not able to go out of our houses. We are now shifting to some other places but some people are still trapped inside their houses". The reports included that the schools have been closed since September 19 and around 210 people have been moved into relief camps near Ganganagar village last week after water flooded into a few villages. Bhubneshwar: Women's bike rally organised to spread awareness about wearing helmets

In Odisha's Bhubneshwar city, Orissa Women's Adventure Club (OWAC) organised the rally to spread awareness about wearing helmets regarding The Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Act, 2019. As per senior police officer, "Women have come in large numbers for the bike rally. Our agenda is to propagate the idea of pillion rider wearing a helmet". The officer further said that the department wants to spread this awareness to the maximum number of people possible because with the law, wearing a helmet for children has also been made compulsory. The department request maximum people to be aware of the changes in the law and want to make the roads of Bhubneshwar city safer and reduce the number of fatalities on the road. Src:

Khattar govt only did event management: Kumari Selji

Haryana Congress president Kumari Selji slammed CM Manohar Lal Khattar led BJP dispensation and alleged, "The Manohar Lal Khattar govt has not done any work on the ground. They have only done event management, organising events, putting up their advertisement. We all have seen how much public money is wasted on such things. Despite being debt-ridden, Haryana govt has spent thousands of Cr on propaganda". She further said, "Nobody is happy with this govt. They are bringing up issues that have no relevance in the day-to-day lives of the people of Haryana. These elections are not Lok Sabha elections but state Assembly elections and people will judge on what the govt has failed on all counts and has done nothing for the people". Pak PM reaches US in Saudi Crown Prince's 'special' plane

Pakistan PM Imran Khan has reached the United States (US) on a 'special aircraft' of Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammad Bin Salman. As per media reports, Khan has been barred from using a commercial flight by the Saudi Crown Prince by saying, "You are our special guest and you would be going to the US on my special aircraft. Pakistan Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said, "PM Imran Khan has reached the US. The seven-day visit is aimed at drawing the attention of the world towards what is happening in Kashmir".
