BJP’s Ram Madhav says Pandits will return to Kashmir with dignity

BJP’s National General Secretary and in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, Ram Madhav said after fulfilling its long-pending promise of negating Article 370 that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, the party is looking forward for its next objective that is to ensure the return of Kashmiri Pandits to the Valley. In 1990 large number of Pandit communities were forced to leave Kashmir following terror attacks and a secessionist movement spearheaded by extremist groups. While a section Kashmiri Pandits are demanding a separate homeland within the Valley, other community leaders have expressed apprehension about the plans for their resettlement due to security concerns.
