Former Bihar CM Rabri Devi appealed an investigation by any Central Investigative agency into deaths of over 130 children in Bihar due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES). Rabri, in an interview, said, "Both State and Central govt are responsible and an investigation should be done for the same. Any investigative agency of the Central govt should perceive any reason why children didn't get food to eat." She further added, "The dealers aren't offering ration to the people without the card. Many children have lost their lives. It's because of the govt as it didn't take care of this matter. A case should be filed on this matter and culprits should be punished." Src:
