Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad talking on the revocation of Article 370 stated, "Let them lift the curfew and communication blockage, then they will know whether Jammu and Kashmir is celebrating or mourning". Azad also asserted that thousands of people were on streets in Kargil protesting against the measures taken by the government. He also slammed his fellow party leader who broke ranks with the party and upheld the govt on what he called "destruction of the state". Apple to Restrict Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp's VoIP Call Feature: Report

The Apple, an American multinational technology company has recently been accused of making a change in their OS which will restrict a feature which allows apps like Facebook's Messenger and WhatsApp to make voice calls over the Internet. The calling feature which runs in the background to connect calls faster while performing other tasks will be restricted. Facebook wants to rename Instagram, WhatsApp to assert more control

Recently a report has confirmed that the Mark Zuckerberg owned company, Facebook has shown their interest to rename Instagram and WhatsApp by 'Instagram by Facebook' and 'WhatsApp by Facebook'. The reason behind this step is said to show the ownership of the two most influential social media apps. The Mark Zuckerberg-owned company had acquired Instagram back in 2012 while the WhatsApp in 2017. Src:

BSP welcomes revoking of Article 370 in J&K: Mayawati

BSP President Mayawati on her Twitter handle hailed the Centre's decision of revoking the special status of J&K and bifurcating the state into two Union Territories by deciding to scrap Article 370. Mayawati's tweet read, "The demand for the removal of Section 370 and Article 35A related to special status to Jammu and Kashmir was pending for a very long time. The BSP now expects that the people residing in there will be benefited from the Central Government's decision in this regard". She also asserted that the Buddhist community living in Jammu and Kashmir are also happy with the Centre's decision of making Ladakh a separate Union Territory. Src:
