Khattar was speaking on the success of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign in Haryana joked, "Earlier bahus used to come from Bihar but now we will bring girls from Kashmir". Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and former party president Rahul Gandhi today opted out of consultations with state leaders to choose the party's next president. The Congress Working Committee’s (CWC) had decided in the morning to form five groups to consult with state leaders of zones in the country to determine on a party chief. But shortly after the CWC meeting Sonia and Rahul left Congress headquarters saying they won't be part of the consultation process. Sonia said they "naturally" can't be a part of the consultation. To film TikTok video a man jumps into overflowing drain, villagers save him from drowning

To film a TikTok video a man in Madhya Pradesh went into an overflowing drain in a flood-hit area in Neemuch district. The man was identified as Pappu Singh. A local resident said, “He gave his phone to some villagers, who were standing on a bridge, and started swimming in the overflowing drain. But he got stuck near the bridge and started drowning. The villagers had to make a lot of efforts to save him”. Following the incident, the district administration has issued a warning against performing stunts around water. Src:
