India's fuel demand rose 3.3% in July

As per the data shared by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) of the oil ministry, it was confirmed that India’s fuel demand has risen by as much as 3.3% in July compared with the same month last year. Consumption of fuel, a proxy for oil demand, totalled at 17.58 million tonnes. As per the media reports, sales of gasoline, or petrol, were 8.8% higher from a year earlier at 2.52 million tonnes. Uttar Pradesh: Gang-rape victim kills self due to taunts by neighbours

On Saturday, A 13-year-old gang-rape victim has committed suicide by hanging herself in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. The deceased's family members have alleged that she was upset due to the lack of actions by police officials and comments being passed by a few women in the neighbourhood. As of now, there hasn’t been any suicide note was recovered at the site. As per the media reports, it was narrated that the girl was abducted and raped on July 13 allegedly by her neighbours Wasif, his brother Wasaf and their friend Shyamu, alias Sammu, all teenagers. Article 370 revocation doesn't mean anyone can buy land: J&K BJP

After the annulment of Article 370, The Jammu and Kashmir BJP President, Ravinder Raina has said “Abrogation of Article 370 does not indicate that anybody from the outside can come and buy land. A person should have stayed in the state for a designated period of time to be eligible to buy land.” In addition to this he also added, “People who have been staying here for longer will be preferred for land and jobs. Delhi: Former BJP MLA booked for raping, threatening daughter-in-law at a gun point

Manoj Shokeen, a two-time former MLA from Delhi BJP, has been arrested because of raping his son's wife at gunpoint multiple times. As per the FIR read, "When we reached the hotel, after the party, we went to my in-laws' house at around 12.30 am on January 1. My husband went out with his friends while I went to sleep. After he (Shokeen) entered into the room, he started touching me inappropriately. Following which I asked him to go and sleep as he was drunk.
