Mamata writes letter to 18 CMs, urging them to extend help to migrants

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urged 18 Chief Ministers to extend help to the workers from Bengal stranded in their states. Banerjee in her letter wrote that she is receiving SOS calls from migrants labourers stuck in other states. Hence, she has appealed the CMs to provide basic food, shelter and medical support to migrants from Bengal and assured that she will take care of such people stuck in WB. Israel praises India for evacuating Israelis amid Coronavirus crisis

Israel expressed gratitude to Indian government for evaluating over 500 Israeli nationals from India, in two rounds, one each on Thursday and Friday. A special Air India flight 317 carried Israelis back home followed by another 200. "Today, we’are evacuating 317 Israelis. In another flight tomorrow, 200 more Israelis to be evacuated. Still no hard evidence of community transmission of Coronavirus in India: Health Ministry

The Health Ministry on Thursday denied reports of community transmission of Coronavirus in India and said that there is still no hard evidence. Health Ministry's Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said in a statement, "Yes, we may not be able to trace some contacts of all positive cases but these cases are sporadic.
